Will any 18mm watch strap fit my watch?
Most 18mm straps will fit a watch with standard 18mm lugs, but some watches require a particular type of fitting. Watches with fixed bars, integrated straps, curved ends or brand-specific connections may not accept a standard strap. If you are unsure, contact us with the make and model of your watch, or send us a photo, and we will help you check.
Does an 18mm watch strap stay 18mm wide at the buckle?
Not necessarily. The 18mm measurement refers to the end fitted between the watch lugs. Some straps taper to 16mm at the buckle, while others remain 18mm wide. Check both measurements on the product page, especially if you plan to reuse your existing buckle or clasp.
Can I reuse the original buckle or clasp from my watch?
Often, yes. The buckle-end width must match, and the strap needs to be suitable for the type of buckle or clasp you have. Thickness is particularly important with deployment clasps. If you are unsure, contact us with the details of your watch and clasp so we can check.
How quickly will my 18mm strap arrive?
UK orders placed before 3pm on a weekday are dispatched the same day where possible. Royal Mail Tracked 24 usually takes one or two working days, while guaranteed next-working-day delivery is available with Royal Mail Special Delivery.
