Description

Beloved by watch aficionados the world over, the ISOfrane strap is one of the world's premier diving bands, with a timeless, functional design that dates back to the 1960s. The original isoprene rubber formula that gave it its soft, strong and waterproof characteristics is intact, but has been updated for the 21st century with hypoallergenic, non-toxic modifications that make it exceedingly kind to the users skin – all without using silicone, for maximal dust-resistance allowing the strap to retain its factory-fresh lustre for far longer than competing straps.

Love the strap…chunky and well meaning, it’s a joy to wear. I have a large watch and this strap mitigates its weight by making it feel as if nothing is on my wrist. I’ve worn it swimming in the ocean and in a lake and I really dig how it doesn’t collect debris. Every other rubber strap tends to create a build up against my skin underneath, but not with this isoFrane. The cost is easily worth it.

Using this strap on my Seiko diver, definitely worth the price! Pros: killer look, perfectly comfortable, length is not too big also on my smaller wrist, no overlap of the strap end, high number of regulation holes Cons: it's a bit difficult to make the strap pass under the keepers; no taper on the buckle end

I'M GLAD I GOT ONE - I've been eyeing up an ISOfrane for well over a year now. Like Jim's review down below, I'd spent money buying loads of straps and avoided the ISOfrane because of the price. I finally gave in after reading the reviews. It's so much more comfortable than my OEM strap (I have a Panerai). It grips your wrist well, without needing to be tight. My heavy 44mm PAM now sits really comfortably on my wrist. The holes make it really breathable, and there is a nice range for sizing. I've only worn it for a few days so far but I'm already really impressed. I got the Inoxnuova buckle, which works great, it suits my PAM rather than the Retrosicuro and also cheaper. The only gripe I have is that it's hard to pull the strap in and out of the keepers. My PAM is a manual-wind so I have to take it off regularly to wind it. The keepers stick a bit when I try to put the strap end through. I found a trick that works quite well is to wet the keepers beforehand. The strap then glides in and out easily. As always, WatchObsession has top-notch service and delivery!
