Boston is the latest Buffalo calfskin strap by Hirsch

At WatchObsession we were a little bit disappointed that one of our most loved Hirsch straps was being dropped from the range. The Hirsch Buffalo was a fan favourite for its clean and simple design offered across popular width and length options. We were told the Buffalo would be replaced by a completely new model for 2020 called the Hirsch Boston...

The Hirsch Boston had big boots to fill and so far it has proven to be just as popular as it's predecessor and it is easy to see why... despite being a new model, the Boston is pretty much a refined version of the Buffalo with much of the same DNA. Very similar grain, similar contrast stitching, both vegetable tanned leathers and almost the same size run.

When we say refined, what we are talking about are small differences that make the Boston a new style completely. The shape used for the Boston is a little bit more traditional in that it is moderately padded up by the watch end which then tapers down towards the buckle. The stitching runs a little closer to the edge than it used to on the Buffalo which gives it a slightly more formal look.

The stitching is that same off-white that adds to the whole modern heritage look that Hirsch are going for. Although the stitching is a slightly thinner gauge than the Buffalo it still looks great and more in-keeping with the style of the Boston.

Hirsch watch straps new quick release spring bar feature

Just like the Hirsch Toronto, every single size and colour Hirsch Boston will come equipped with their new quick release spring bar. This makes fitting the watch strap a breeze. It is worth noting that almost all of our Hirsch stock now has the same quick release spring bars fitted which some absolute love.
