Stuff we like: OMEGA Speedmaster 57' Heritage

Drawing inspiration from previous models is not just limited to watches. Reissues happen everywhere, car manufacturers like Mini and VW rekindled their Cooper and Scirocco/Beatle with great success. Even the human body draws inspiration from its heritage to create something new.

New technologies are often applied to the creation of reissues bringing them right up to speed with the modern day. Sometimes designers can lose what was so great about the original but that is not the case with the new OMEGA Speedmaster 57'.



Now powered by Omega's Co-Axial calibre 9300 movement which is responsible for the two sub dials that update the look of this Speedmaster. The dial is Black with forced patina on the indexes and broad arrowed hands. Extended lugs mimic the narrow lugs of its predecessor giving it its vintage look.
