Stuff we like: Porsche Cayman GT4

February 04, 2015 1 min read

For me, the Porsche Boxster has never had the same appeal as other Porshes but when Porsche added the Boxsters hardtop brother, the Cayman to their line up, I thought it was genius. How could, what is essentially the same car go from something I would never consider, to a car that ranks highly on my list of cars to own. The track ready Cayman GT4 road car ticks all of the boxes for me. The styling is absolutely incredible and it is spec'd up. Inheriting the 385 BHP 3.8 litre flat six engine from the 911 Carrera S gives it a 0-60mph time of 4.2 and a top speed of 183mph. The GT4 is 30mm lower than a standard Cayman and has uprated brakes amongst many other parts from the 911 GT3. Really looking forward to seeing more of this car at its official introduction at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
