Recently reintroduced to the UK market, the solar-powered Prospex quartz watch series from Seiko offers up rugged good looks with functionality and durability to match.
Seiko's solar-powered movement has been developed and refined over the course of the last 40 years; this model can provide an entire day's functionality after just two minutes of exposure to sunlight, and the watch can charge its reserves under artificial as well as natural light. With a fully-depleted power reserve, the watch can be fully functional again after just eight minutes of exposure.
Coupled with a durable stainless steel and plastic composite casing and water resistance at depths of up to 200m, this is a watch that compromises nothing in the name of performance and endurance; a highly reliable timepiece that's always ready when you are.
