The 'Perlon Watch Strap' has been around since around the 1960's and its design has remained relatively unchanged. This is a true sign of a functional watch strap. The popularity of this strap is largely down to how you are able to fine tune the length allowing you to fasten the strap at any point.
Our Perlon straps are also incredibly durable. The strap is made from a complex braided Nylon composite with a coated brass buckle (nickel free) attached. This also makes the watch strap very comfortable and waterproof.

It's a great, simple yet elegant strap, which is a nice alternative to a regular NATO. It's a single pass, so the watch sits lower on the wrist than it would with a Nato, and perlon is a lighter weight, much more breathable alternative to a nylon NATO strap. It's a very classy and understated deep navy blue, which complements my watch very well. At a glance it has the textured look of a tropic strap, so lends the watch quite a 60s / 70s vibe. Perlon is a coarse weave and there are no strap holes, rather you simply cinch the strap up, and push the buckle pin through the webbing. This means that the strap is almost infinitely adjustable, and consequently very, very comfortable. I have a 6.75" wrist though and it's hard to see this strap working for anyone with a wrist bigger than say 7 - 7.5", as it's not a long strap, even at the limit of it's adjustment. One downside (IMHO) is that it's the nature of perlon to spread a bit. This strap is 22m wide, but after a bit of wear and getting wet a few times, the weave starts to relax and the strap gets a little wider. It probably measure 23mm wide now, which isn't really an issue, but it's worth mentioning. The buckle is adequate and does it's job, although it would be nice to see something more robust on this strap, in maybe a brushed stainless steel, rather than the quite cheap feeling, pressed and chromed buckle that it has, but on the positive side, the buckle is unobtrusive mostly hidden from (my) view. Will I get another? Yes I will, when this one wears out, I will. Despite being very cost effective and simple, I think that it is elegant, understated and sporty.
Good quality and nice colours. Well made and match well to the watches I chose them for. Only negative is the keeper that holds the end of the strap in place scratches against the skin but as the strap is quite long I have the keeper right round to the side of my wrist where there is less pressure.
What can I say other than the Perlon dark blue watch strap I ordered is fantastic for the summer ultimately adjustable and breathable I also ordered the black buckle as I have fitted it to my cwc 72 mellor for a more military look. Great service as usual from watchobsession .
I only buy one piece watch straps as I like to wash them. NATO straps can be too long, but these Perlon straps can be adjusted to exactly the right length and look very smart.
